Born and raised in South Africa, rural generalist at heart, worked all over Africa including Rwanda & Mozambique, resource depleted settings including PNG, The Torres Straits and Outback NT (Katherine & Darwin) attaining Fellowship with the College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) gaining experience in Retrieval medicine and Emergency Surgery (General, Obstetrics and Orthopaedics) – before completing General Surgery (FRACS) in the Hunter New England network.
Post Fellowship training in Acute Care, Rural and Trauma Fellowships in Cairns, Darwin and The Canberra Hospitals.
